Math Tutor DVD Contest Runs Again

We are so blessed here at HSB to have Jason Gibson offering us a monthly give away of the Math Tutor DVD Bundle!

Zero. WE even put up the tree sans lights this year, which is a little weird. We have a Santa and Mrs. Claus who each hold a lighted candle, and a lighted Snowman. Technically, the Reindeer sign out front has a light-up nose, but it needs a bulb. So ... zero ... or maybe 3 if you count the Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Snowman. I guess Rudolph's bulb-less nose doesn't count, does it?

*giggle*

edited to add: I forgot about the small pre-lit trees in the children's room. Together there are 56 lights on those two mini-trees, according to the children. So, I guess we have 59 lights total.

I told my 4 little ones to go ahead and count all of the little lightbulbs on our tree, and they all went to it! We don't have a whole lot of lights up this year, just 2 strings on our tree. So here is what the kids said. " There has to be around 100 lights mom!" They all think that 100 is a really big number. In actuallity, there are around 200 little white lightbulbs on our tree this year.

We have 1200 on our tree alone. Add the 4 strands of icicle lights, the two sets of net lights, and the Holy Family out front...I would say at least 2200 lights. Of course, our neighbors have way more lights than we do!

There are 650 lights on our pre-lit tree this year, oldest ds decorated his room with 15 feet of pre-lit pine garland that has 35 lights. So that's a total of 685 inside...oh plus the lighted snowman on the entertainment center makes 686 inside. Today the boys decided that we needed lights outside so they set to work stringing them up around the porch. Soooooo, having "tried" to count those, we came up with 450 out there, but it sure does look like more.

So that gives us a grand total of 1136...for now. We still have lots more in our box. Who knows where they'll decide to put them next.
