Cookie Swap
Looking for a fun way to make those cookies.Hosting a cookie swap can be fun and you get to eat losts of yummy cookies. You would only then need to bake one kind of your best cookies. When inviting friends make sure you give them enough time to get baking. Each friend is then to bring one dozen cookies per guest. So if you invite four friends then you would need five dozen cookies including youself. Have your guests bring a copy of the recipe for each dozen they bake.

To make your cookie swap interesting, you need to add some fun details.
Presentation is the key. Put out a holiday table cloth, Candles, Christmas plates, and a holiday Cookie jar. Have drinks like cocoa, cider and mint shakes.
Make sandwiches and cut them out with little cookie cutters. Making cute Pb and J sandwiches. Make sure to have decorative gift boxes or gift bags on hand to take the cookies home in. You could as just us a cardboard box and some wrapping paper. Don't forget the holiday music.

If children are attending they could decorate sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles.
Or they could bread paint. Use a cookie cutter. Push down on the bread and tear remaining away. Dilute some food coloring in a little water. Use a clean brush and brush on the bread. Be careful not to use to much water on the brush or your bread will get to wet to eat.
Your kids could also read a little holiday poetry or some bible verses.

Now it is time to hand out those cookies. Each person goes around and collects one dozen of cookies from each guest and one recipe card. Now you all have a wonderful collection of cookies to share with you family or guests at a christmas party.
