Check Your Comments Setting!

I had begun to think that absolutely noone was leaving any comments around here anymore! Not a single e-mail have I received all week letting me know that a comment had been posted.

Finally it dawned on me... "I bet the settings were changed in the upgrade..."

Sure enough they were! In I went to fix that in a big hurry! If you haven't been receiving e-mails notifiying you of comments go check your comments settings. Check yes you want to be notified by e-mail of any comments.

While you're at it check your other settings too. Just in case.

Hi~ I am very sorry to ask you this, but my blog seems different. I can't see my comments, or the thing that says post a comment. I can only see permanant link. And I really want to see my comments. If you have HeidiHomeschools on your list that is my mother and she is coming home from Vietnam with my new adopted baby brother. I am very miserable about not being able to check my comments, cause I LOVE to blog. It is a GREAT hobby. Can you help me PLEASE. If so it would be so helpful. By the way I am 13 years old. I thought that might help you with something, if you wondered!

Well, I will admit that I was among those of us that were stomping our feet and really frustrated with the changes BUT I need to come back and say that I TOTALLY appreciate HSB hearing our comments and actually changing our "friends" links to go directly to our friends blogs instead of their profiles!!!!!! YIPPEEE!! This has made my life 100% better already. THANK YOU very much :)

I've been constantly working on getting around my java script problems and so far I've been very blessed to find alternative routes to fixing my problems. Praise the Lord!

I figured it out too. Are they going to make the the manager page more user friendly like it was. I can't see going through twoo pages just to get to the edit template page. IT is so confusing. I know you are getting a lot of complaints, and some are leaving. I don't want to leave, but it is really difficult to figure out the manager page. Just my two cents. Or four.

I changed mine but I'm still only getting a few comments. I guess it will take a few more days before things perk up again. I can see some good changes but this sure was hard for addicted bloggers like me ; )
