Nancy told me about something she had seen over at A Gracious Home, this week is National De-Lurking Week! So we are asking all you readers who stop by and enjoy what we have to share to come out of hiding and leave a comment, say hello, let us know what you are enjoying, and share your own thoughts on the topic as well.
Don't just leave comments here! Broaden your horizons and leave comments everywhere you go, to all the blogs you rarely leave a howdy at. Find some new blogs and drop them a line. Bloggers love to read what you have to say, it helps give them ideas for what else to share and opens up some dialog. Our blogs may be our soap boxes but that doesn't mean we want to monopolize the conversation. So leave your comments and join in the chat!
I know it can be hard to take time to log in and leave your two cents worth or a note of encouragement. I've had trouble just finding time to read my own friends blogs let alone anything new! Remember on HSB you don't have to log in, you can erase that word anonymous and just type in your username, or type in your blog URL.
Keep Blogging!

After a too-long commenting hiatus, I'm back to visiting as many blogs as possible each day. It's been a ton of fun, although I admit to being mystified by some of the teen blogs, and I'm sure they wonder, "Who's the old nutty lady who commented on my blog?"

I hope this catches on, because I love leaving comments and getting comments. My problem is I gone a little overboard! : )
I've been on HSB two months and have left almost 500 comments. YIKES! Maybe I need to get a life?!? Seriously, I think it's important to trade info, encourage each other, help each and so forth. Homeschooling will only continue to grow if we make it a comfortable thing to do.
Have I been ... lurking (sounds rather prurient)

I don't think that I'm really lurking -- but then again...
I'm David and my interest is communication (mass media). I'm taking a year-long trip and testing the utility of seven media channels: blog; newspaper column; online forum; map room; photo gallery; podcasts; and radio.
Take a look -- and leave a comment, if you aren't a lurker...
