Jane has been homeschooling her children, Joseph, Samuel and Miranda for 9 years. Her two boys also have blogs here at HomeschoolBlogger.com:

Her energetic children share her energy for life and her passion for Jesus.  One of Jane's most memorable homeschooling moments came during devotions one morning. 

“We were reading of how God rescued the Israelites when they cried for help. Joseph, who was 6 at the time, asked if He hears when we cry to him. I said yes. I went to carry on with the story. He said that he wanted to 'cry out' to God for his brother Sam who was covered in bandages due to severe eczema. So he REALLY called out to God (It was awesome) . Then he said he felt God might be saying we should get the elders at church to pray for Sam. As this agreed with scripture we went, after church the next Sunday to ask for prayer. The bible verse preached on that Sunday as it happened was the exact one we had read in the week about God hearing our cry. It was a precious family time. 3 years on, the Eczema and allergies are still a part of life and I'm trusting each God for each day that he blesses Sam with a bit more health. He IS faithful. He heard our cry....!"

Homeschooling in the UK hasn’t always been easy. Jane says that the most challenging is overcoming the stereotype that this is an option just for people who are weird. Even many Christians that she knows are anti-homeschooling because they think that children won’t get enough rough and tumble of the “real world”. Although this is discouraging, Jane tells us that there are between 100,000 and 150,000 people who homeschool and the number is growing at a rapid pace.   I'm sure that Jane's enthusiasm is helping to add to that number daily.  And now with her new blog her passion for life and motherhood will be felt around the world.
