The Tip of the Day is to keep a card file of great websites you have discovered next to your computer so you can refer back to it when needed.
When I find a good web site, which offers homeschool unit studies, activities, etc., I like to keep up with the address so I can refer back to them as the occasion arises. I keep a card file box next to the computer and make an index card on the website. I file by the name of the website, and also by what category it falls under. For instance, Starfall.com could fall under music, preschool, Starfall, etc. That way, if I remember seeing a website I thought would one day be useful, I will know how to retrieve it.
Let me introduce myself. I am Cindy Blackwell, homeschool mom for six years of three boys, ages 11, 7, and 4. I have enjoyed being the Tip of the Day writer for the month of January. Check out my blogsite at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/mustardseed/.
