Happy Valentines Day...
This tip is one we should do everyday, but since it is Valentines Day, I wanted to encourage you to count the ways you love one another. We are home educators moms... but first, we are wives...
My husband and I each have a "How Do I love Thee... Journal
We started it on our first anniversary... at night before we turn out the lights we enter a love note.. there are many... I Love You's in a row... but every so often there is more, something touches our hearts and we write a love letter... there have been many nights we have missed over the years, and at first it bothered me... I have not missed a day yet... but now, much wiser... I know we - as women- have more words to use before days end... So when I get an "I Love You" or a special love letter all is right with the world...
We each have a journal and in the morning if it has been written in - we awake to it by our bedside table...
This morning I awoke to a love letter and a dozen roses!
Here is some inspiration to get you started.
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways...
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach,
when feeling out of sight for the ends of being and ideal Grgce.
=
I love thee to the level of everyday's most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use in my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to losewith my lost saints,
I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life!
and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
