Pressure of a New Year ~ We each have a different time of year where we begin to plan and wonder about our homeschooling.  Along with those thoughts we feel the pressure of “doing it right” and “finding the perfect curriculum.”  For Kristie this happens towards the beginning of the school year. 

Gingerbread Parthenons ~ It’s always amazing to me the different ways a history lesson can be learned.  I wonder if the Greeks would have approved of cookie models as a learning tool?

There’s no I in TEAM ~ Sometimes the profound thoughts we have to share come from simple activities.  Aside from church basketball teams, I wouldn’t have been able to come up with any other connection between the church and basketball.  Kristie has a knack for analogies.

Make Reading Fun ~ Bloggers find the neatest websites!  I have been introduced some fun programs and activities by other bloggers.  Saves me time from having to search myself.  Book Adventure is something to get excited about!

Small Victories ~ Sometimes it’s those small victories that help you to know you are winning the battle.  Espeically those that involve a family member who doesn’t share your vision for homeschooling.
