In a previous entry I had to be the bearer of bad news and inform the blogging masses that Java Script needed to be turned off. Unfortunately it still does.
The HSB team has received numerous e-mails and comments letting us know that the virus is out there, and even after the JS has been disabled people are still receiving virus warnings. We thank you for your help and support!
What we do need for you to do is to tell us WHICH blogs are giving you the virus alerts and worm trouble. Individual blogs have been affected and those blogs need to be identified. That is why you are still experiencing the problems that you are having, even with JS turned off. If we had left it on, the problem would become more wide spread.
HSB is not the only website being affected by this! MySpace and Flickr are just a couple out of many that have also been attacked with similar problems recently.
In the meantime I'll keep you informed. Get out there and dig up those worms and let us know where they are!

Hi There,
When I continue to click "random blog", just about every blog I click is infected. So far, every one that uses the site given templates has a virus popup. I'd say one out five "blog owner designed pages" is infected. Hope that helps.

If people are getting virus alert messages when they visit HSB, should they avoid loading HSB pages until this passes?

I have yet to get a pop-up notice on any blogs I visit, which is quite a few.
Argh, the loss of JS is so frustrating.

My blogstop won't even load on the page. I enter the URL and after about 20 seconds it tells me that the server can not be found. I hope that something is improved soon! :(

Thank you for your tireless efforts in making this a safe, friendly place for families. I know that you guys often receive the short end of the stick, but I just want you to know that I appreciate you! Thanks for everything!
