Here's an excellent article over at CBNNews.
Where do people get the idea that public schoools are the "real world"? After I got married and had to take care of a house of my own I was amazed at how often a bathroom needed cleaning. I asked my mother, "How did you keep your bathroom so clean?"
You know what she told me? "I cleaned it while you were at school."
Over the years I have found more and more such instances that I didn't have a realistic view of because it was all taken care of while I was at school. Oil changes, grocery shopping, bills, and the time and effort my mother spent in making her job successful. (She worked from home.)
That's the real world and when my children leave home they won't be surprised at how often a bathroom needs to be cleaned.
