The Bill to criminalise the parental action of correcting children,
usurping parental authority and transferring it to the state, was set to
pass by a slim margin. Then the so-called conservative party, National,
did a back room deal last Wednesday to add a useless amendment which
changes nothing, but which allows National to now take some credit for
passing this bill.....in the face of 85% opposition from the voters! How
any of them think it's good is beyond me. But the National leader
certainly got hoodwinked by superior politiking by the Marxists.
So now the vote is set for May 16. It looks like all but 3 of our
Policitians will vote for it. The two largest parties will be "whipped"
to vote together for the Bill. Because the two largest parties are
voting for it some of the smaller ones will follow suit. We have 3
Politicians left who are not swallowing the lies. The re-written bill is
after my signature.
You can read much commentary about it here:
It's the people against Parliament now! 83% of the people are against
this Bill.
We are now desperate. It looked like we would get the support we
needed until this back room deal by the major Parties. Now we can't do
this on our own and may only have 8 days left (until your Tuesday).
So we need to have hundreds of people from overseas email our
Politicans.
The emails can be very short and go something like this- it would be
good if people made slight variations:
"Subject line: Please keep Section 59
Dear Prime Minister and Members of Parliament
It has just come to our notice that you may be voting on May 16 for a
Bill that will make it illegal for parents to correct their children.
If this Bill (the Re-written Section 59 -- Parental Control) becomes law
then New Zealand will no longer be a Country that we will travel to as
tourists or consider as an immigration destination. It will be too
dangerous. We do not want to loose our children to the New Zealand
Social Welfare system and get caught up in the New Zealand legal system.
Regards
."
