Featured Blogger:
CarolinaMetzgers of A Second Generation of Homeschooling
HomeschoolBlogger is full of homeschoolers. You might think that because of this the things we have to say to each other would be pretty mundane, at least amongst ourselves. Even though we have something major in common, we are not all the same. We don’t even always agree!
Usually on Featured Blogger I tell you what I liked about the chosen blog. I’ve often wondered, “Will they agree with me? Will they find this post as funny as I did, or will this entry be as meaningful for other readers as it was for me?” So for awhile here in Featured Blogger I’m not going to point out individual blog posts within a given blog. Instead I’m going to give you a short blography. Then after you’ve gone over and checked things out I want you to leave a comment here telling us what you liked most about the featured blog. So, let’s get started!
I like blogs that make me think and challenge me to consider what it is that I believe. Sometimes I agree with a post and sometimes I don’t, but either way I leave that blog thinking. Lisa’s blog always makes me think and I love the way she gets me to think.
From what it means to be a helpmeet and mother to women in ministry, A Second Generation of Homeschooling shares the teachings of the first generation. Whether you agree or not, what you can’t deny is that this is a wife and mother who wants to serve the Lord.
You won’t find Lisa’s blog to be politically correct nor does she aim to please man, and because of that she is honest. True honesty isn’t brutal or cold or righteous, it’s just truth laid out in love. That’s Lisa’s blog.
