The Beauty of Blogging
What do beauty and blogging have in common? A great deal I think. Let me explain.
Just as God created each of us individually and intricately, working out every detail according to His good pleasure, so He has gifted each of us with differing abilities and personalities. And, as these go, so goes our blogging. We are all so unique. Whether we are blogging about our daily routine or blogging our spiritual journey, the beauty of the blogging lies in the Divine individuality of each blogger. As an orchestra has many differing instruments each producing varying sounds yet all coming together to create beautiful music for the hearer, so each of us has a differing aspect to our blogging that is distinctively ours, yet linked together with others who are journeying with us on the homeschooling road. As homeschool bloggers, we create beauty as we show forth the glory of our Creator through the very diverse design of His creation portrayed in each of our blogs.
Don’t know what to blog? Blog about your Creator and His creation – namely, you and your family. Blog about the giftings He’s blessed you with. Blog to Him and for Him, showing forth the unique personality He has bestowed you with. Your blogging is beautiful in the Eye of your Creator when you show forth His praise. We are reminded throughout His Word to “remember.” Remember and proclaim what the Lord has done and is doing in your life. Remind yourself and your children the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Blog about it. Blog about Him and it will be beautiful to Him.
Don’t blog very often? That’s okay, too. Whether once a day or once a month, blogging gives us an occasion to express the details of our lives to the glory of God.
Think your blog is too simple to radiate beauty? Whether your blog is plain and no frills, or has all the bells and whistles imaginable, it is the content of your heart that is beautiful in the Eye of the Creator. Pour out your hearts and let’s make beautiful music together…..for “an audience of One.”
