The new server is coming! The new server is coming!
Yes, you read that right and by the grace of God it will actually be happening this coming Friday night starting at midnight EST! If you try to log in at that time you will see a message that explains that HSB is unavailable.
First of all I want to thank all of you for your patience. We know how hard it has been to log in and all the problems you have dealt with. We have dealt with them as well. It has been said that other blog sites deal with their problems much quicker. Sometimes this is true, other times it isn't. We are not ignorant of what takes place at other blog hosts. Some of those blog hosts also have billion dollar industries supporting them and the manpower to work more quickly. HSB does not.
This server change has been a very long time coming. There have been many glitches and disappointments with delays. It had been hoped to have the new server up months ago but some problems were found that had to be fixed. If everything had just been transferred to the new server without fixing things first we would be in the same boat we are in now and maybe even worse.
Does this mean that all the of the problems will be fixed? We hope so! Still, it is possible that some things may not work just right. We know you'll let us know if they don't!
