Hi Friends!
Wow, thanks for the comments on last weeks entry! It really surprisesd me in many ways. I am always amazed at how many people respond to recipes or craft ideas. We are such a crafty, creative group! I don't like to read whiny blogs.....I think blogs need to be encouraging, and endeavor to do that. But last week was just a tad bit more transparent than I plan to be on a regular basis. I guess it hit a few nerves! Thank YOU for all being honest in return. Sometimes we moms just get to a boiling point and have to spill over.
Life really can be that way. You know, you simmer along, doing your job then WHAM! Somebody turns up the heat and we are all over the place. Sometimes those boil-overs are very hard to clean up, if you know what I mean! But don't you think it's better than being so cold, no fire at all underneath you, that you don't even respond to anything? You know, that prozac kind of life where nothing matters? I don't think that is they way were intended to function.
We need a bit more energy, more enthusiasm! (Look that one up in Webster's!) We were created to live and breathe, and MOVE. Something has to get us going!
I am all for encouragement, and I find it in so many places! Just today a gal from our local group posted a wonderful piece she wrote and I hope I will be able to share it with you soon. We all need to be moved from time to time, hopefully not just out of the frying pan and into the fire. :)
Have a blessed week everyone!
Nancy
Be sure to visit me over at Homeschooling Is Life! I am going to post some of my sketches from this week. I was inspired by a wonderful online interview with artist Richard Bell, by my friend Jill Novak.
