Featured Blogger:
quietcajun of The Perils of Parenting and Other Ponderings
Each week I write out what makes each blogger special. Sometimes that can be very hard to do, not because there is nothing special about them but because what makes a homeschool mom special spills over into the other areas of her life. They are selfless, dedicated, and resourceful. So how do I point out that one homeschool mom is different from another? We are of course all different, those differences make us special too, but do you really want to read about how one blogger loves to watch American Idol and another blogger doesn’t even have a t.v. in her house? It might be a curious tidbit to know, but I can’t do a whole featured blogger on favorite t.v. programs!
So what sets Christina apart from the rest of us? The first thing I noticed were her comments. They are quiet, peaceful comments that encourage other bloggers. The second thing I noticed was her giving nature. She has crocheted beautiful baby blankets for bloggers she has never met. The third thing I noticed is her sense of humor. Her blog title is, after all, The Perils of Parenting and Other Ponderings. It’s a title that grabs your attention because you have experienced some of those perils yourself and you know you can laugh at them now.
Go visit quietcajun! I know you’ll be there awhile enjoying one of HSB’s very special bloggers. Don’t forget to come back here and tell us in the comments which of her posts you enjoyed the most.
