Kate and Jeff Estes are the owners of Hands and Hearts. They are also the proud parents of seven blessings one of which is little Noah. Noah is a very sick little boy who has to be fed through a tube. It has been a long and arduous process trying to figure out what is wrong with Noah. Many diseases and disorders have been ruled out and they are now left with the possibility that Noah has a mitochondrial disease.
As you can imagine the Estes family has quite a few medical bills to deal with. The folks over at Homeschool Radio Shows are hosting a benefit to help with the costs. There are 4 days left for this fund raiser so be sure to check out the awesome products you will receive with your donation!

Thank you so much for the Hat Tip...I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked my site meter earlier this morning. How exciting that I get to be on the Company Porch...a bird on a perch~

I don't want to discourage anyone from helping this family, but there is the possibility that you won't receive the home school materials that were promised. Paypal gave the Estes family the money on July 7, today is the 10th. Still nothing in my email, neither inbox nor bulk mail.
I'm glad I helped the family, though, they need it.
Estes benefit
Well, I must say shame on you "Anonymous" for posting this without even checking with us about your donation. I can tell you this, we are sending out links via email to EVERYONE who makes a donation to this benefit... though aggressive email filters from some domains can and DO often keep those emails from reaching you.
Please give us a little grace time, as I am not able to be at the computer 24/7 (in fact, I'm in the middle of "little country church VBS" this week), but I will always get back to you if contacted with a question or concern.
If anyone, including yourself, donates to this cause and does not get your links within a couple hours, please simply email me at homeschoolradioshows@gmail.com, and I will gladly resend this to you.
Thanks to all who have donated so far, I know the Estes family is overwhelmed and blessed by this outpouring of support.
Best Wishes,
Jim Erskine
