This week I'd like to share a lesson on solar panels geared towards middle and high school students.

and a few sites of interest...

- Find out what the Anasazi Indians of Colorado had in common with passive solar energy.

- Do you have a child who loves to build?  Combine this passion with alternative energy and check out
   these resources and competitions!.

- Love a good debate in your house (We do!).  Here is a link to a mock debate on renewable energy...youch, it mentions tax hikes for fossil fuel useage.  This is a great way to prepare older children for future debates regarding science, politics and current events.  When I printed this out, we enjoyed a two hour discussion!
