COLUMBIA, SC, Aug. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- Frontline Ministries will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of Exodus Mandate with a gala banquet October 9. Featured speaker will be the former Attorney General of Virginia, Mark Earley, who is now president of PFM.

A Christian non-profit organization, PFM is composed of Prison Fellowship and BreakPoint, an organization that equips Christians to live out their faith in the culture. Prison Fellowship is the world's largest outreach to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.

The Exodus Mandate project has become a leading advocate in America today for K-12 Christian and home-based education as an alternative to state-run public schools.

Exodus Mandate was launched by E. Ray Moore in 1997. Rev. Moore is a retired Army Reserve Chaplain and veteran of Gulf War I. With his wife Gail, the couple began home schooling in 1977 and was among the first who pioneered the modern home schooling movement. As a result of Exodus Mandate and similar organizations, an estimated 2.5 million children will be home schooling this year--and millions more will be attending Christian and private schools.

Besides the Exodus Mandate project, Frontline Ministries also offers a mentoring network for parents called Home Schooling Family to Family and operates a chaplaincy service to provide Christian ministry in the workplace.
