"My name is Tamela Davis, and I am a homeschooling mother of two.  For several years, I have been aware that homeschoolers around the world are in need of a thorough grammar program that can be used by all educators regardless of their background or beliefs.  My husband and I began Growing With Grammar to fill that need in the homeschool community.  

We have designed this thorough program to be user-friendly for both teacher and student by separating the subject matter into two books, the Student Manual and the Student Workbook (which includes a separate Answer Key).  The Student Manual contains the learning portion of the subject matter, and the Student Workbook contains the hands-on portion, which reinforces the lessons taught in the Student Manual.   If desired, independent learners can work alone by utilizing the Student Manual and Student Workbook, since the Answer Key is separate.  To support each concept learned in the Student Manual, there is a corresponding workbook lesson.  Review questions are integrated within each workbook lesson to constantly provide reinforcement of previous lessons learned.  In addition, there are separate review lessons at the end of each chapter.  Also, we have chosen to bind the books with spiral bindings to ensure that the books lie flat when open.  The spiral binding on the Student Workbook is at the top to provide equal unobstructed access for right- and left-handed students."
