Do you know someone who has made a difference in home education?  Every year Calvert School honors those individuals whose efforts have improved homeschooling to receive Homeschooling's Best Awards.  Here's a bit about the awards from the Calvert School website,

Since its inception in 2002, the Homeschooling’s Best Awards have honored recipients for a wide range of homeschooling improvements. These include establishing an honor society for homeschoolers, promoting homeschooling through media coverage, developing new programs for homeschoolers, and assisting homeschoolers who lost curriculum materials in wildfires.

Nominations are accepted from homeschoolers and others. A committee of Calvert School’s officials, including its President and Director of Academic Services, select recipients after thoroughly reviewing each nominee.
