Happy Thanksgiving. As we prepare our table for a bountiful day of Thanks.
My children and I are being crafty.
We made these cute Thankful Turkeys to hang as decorations.
They were so simple to make. All you need is construction paper, glue, wiggle eyes , paper towel tube and paint. Trace your childs hand on white paper. Cut out the hand shape. Then paint it an array of colors for turkey feathers.
Cut paper towel tubes one a bit larger than the other . The smaller being the head. Glue them together. I hot glued them so they would stay together. Then cut a beak, gobbler , and feet from construction paper. Add wiggle eyes and you have yourself a happy turkey. :)

Holiday Finds.
I am like most of you , I like to complete one holiday before I work on another. However if you are crafting that time is now to prepare for Christmas. I have found some great places for you to find some goodies to create. The first one is www.sewmamasew.com She has created many tutorials or sends you to links for great things to sew. She started last week with the 25 days of crafting before christmas. You might want to go check it out and search around a bit. I also found a great meme where you can link up to your crafts or just look at the ones for Christmas available to you. www.kissesofsunshine.com. We all can use some of these great ideas and we can share some of our own. There are some really good ones on there. I loved the one making a handbag from a placemat. So neat!!
Awwww.....Those are very cute Turkeys! I have never seen turkeys made like that. Really Neat Idea!
God Bless,
Belle
