Terrestria Contest!

12:39 AM, Dec. 13, 2007
This contest is now CLOSED!
Terrestria and Dunlop Ministries has done it again!  They have released another great book and want to share it with all of you here!

"Visits to Terrestria" is a study guide covering all seven books in the Terrestria Chronicles allegory series.  This study guide is designed to invoke discussions of the life-changing messages and powerful imagery within each story, much of which might be missed with a casual reading. "Visits to Terrestria" takes the reader to a new level of understanding of the series. Adults and young people alike will more fully grasp the wealth of meaning in these captivating books.

Suitable for family devotions and classroom discussions, this guide will
enable parents, teachers, and young people to revisit Terrestria to discuss
the Scriptural truths contained in the stories. Students will learn to
explore the texts to experience the lives and adventures of the characters
and to discover the depth of meaning in the series. It is our prayer that
young and old alike will surrender their hearts to the King.

This study guide is reproducible for home and classroom use.  The answer key is available as a free download from this website:

There will be 7 winners for this contest!

  •  6 winners will each win "Book one AND the new study guide.
  • 1 winner will win a complete series including the new study guide!

Now that is a dandy of a prize!  All you need to do is leave a comment here.  You must be at least 18 years of age to enter and live in the U.S. Full contest rules can be read here.

Contest ends December 28!  Don't forget to tell all your readers, groups, and friends about this super contest!

I would love to have this study guide. I won the set of books the last time around. My daughter has been reading them out loud to my son. It sounds like this guide would be a great way to include the rest of the family too.

Please enter me to this contest! My boys are a bit young, but I am a fantasy buff going back many years. How refreshing to find an entire set of allegorical books written in that style! I hope to be able to use them with the boys when they are a little older (and read them myself in the meantime!).

This sounds like the perfect alternative to all the fantasy books that our library has to offer. I would love to win this, read this, and then give it to our library for other children to read!

We are a homeschooling family of 3 children, with one of my children having a life threatening condition which limits his ability to participate in "kid" activitities as his friends do. He is an avid reader (age 9) and loves stories such as these! He could probably read the entire series in record time, since he is unable to do other types of "play" and "sports". We would love to win this series for him to be able to read and also to be able to share with the other children as read aloud times. Thank you for considering our family.

Hi everyone,

This has been so much fun getting to see everything involved in The old Schoolhouse, Homesteadblogger, and all. When I opened the first door to this community (if you will) it was as if I found a new world, complete with freindly, supportive people - with so much fun too. This contimues to be one of the delights of my day.

Thank you (A funny thing is that I don't know to whom this comment will go, but you all seem so knit together that I suppose that;s okay)
