Now that Christmas is over and the gifts are
given out I can give you some neat ideas for
next year or gift giving in the future. This was
my favorite gift. It was a big hit with the
grandparents. I made these
Photo trays for each of them.
I bought the photo tray at our local craft store for $4.00
You will also need paint of desired color
Decoupage
a foam brush
and some photos
(I printed mine out black
and white for an old effect)
I painted this one burgandy in color and then
my Grandmas I painted blue.
I had a little kinking with the decoupage.
It's something that takes practice but it turned out
adorable anyway. What you need to do is
put the decoupage all over the bottom of the tray.
Then lay the photo on top like you would use glue
normally. Then rub the decoupage on top of the photo
as well. A nice thin even coat. It will dry
clear and with a shine.
Here is Grandmas...

With hers I didn't fill the entire bottom with photos
I added some scrapbook paper for color.
Grandmas says she is hanging hers on the wall.
Sorry the photos arent the greatest. I always have
trouble when taking a photo of a photo.
Hope you enjoyed this weeks craft corner. :)
