This week has been busy with Chaos Taming here at the PrairieFrog home. The Christmas decorations are packed away, homes have been assigned new toys, and decluttering was done with the old. I’ve been busy revising the schedule for our school’s winter term, and analyzing what works and what needs improvement.
I’ve never been that fond of formal New Years resolutions, in part because I know I’d forget them by March. (The way my mind gets distracted lately, I might even forget before January is over!) This year though, I came up with a plan! l’ll remind myself to check my goals every month. A note on the calendar and a notification on my Homeschool Tracker software will remind of my resolutions. To cinch things up, I’ve also signed up to send myself an e-greeting card in March and May– telling myself to have a wonderful day and check my New Years goals.
I like to make goals that are easily measurable, not vague, so that I can measure progress through the year.
Whatever your resolutions, have a wonderful year and continue taming that chaos!
