Do you have questions about homeschooling in your state? Have you recently moved or is a move in your immediate future? Are you looking for a support group or do you head-up a group in your area? Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions then Homeschool Nation is THE place for you.
What IS Homeschool Nation, you ask? It is a diverse online homeschooling community made up of representatives from each state--many states have more than one representative. Each representative is available to you to: answer questions, support and encourage, provide information about events and offer advice about homeschooling in the state. Each state coordinator and contributor maintains a blog for their state too. In these blogs they: post events, offer tips about homeschooling laws, post regular devotions and offer information about groups in their state. We also have representatives for the UK and Canada who can offer advice about homeschooling outside the US.
TOS has an outstanding group of coordinators and contributors representing many states but we are in search of representatives for: Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, Rhode Island, West Virginia, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. If you live in one of these states and you would like more information about joining the HSN team, please email anissa@thehomeschoolmagazine.com for more information. TOS would like to see each state represented to support homeschoolers around the word!
If you have not visited the HSN section of the TOS site, take a moment to stop in to explore your state resources or browse other states. You can access the main Homeschool Nation page by clicking here: http://www.thehomeschoolmagazine.com/hsn/index.php. It is my vision to link homeschoolers together to support each other worked-wide!
