This contest is BIG! Our sponsor this week is Grammar Key. You may have heard of Grammar Key before but didn't purchase because of the price. Now Grammar Key has their book on CD for a much lower price.

Take a look at this weeks prize.

The Sentence Structure and Parts of Speech CD offers over thirty narrated

lessons covering the parts of speech and includes reviews and challenging

sentences to meet every student's need.

Each lesson begins with a review of the "KEY" and the specific questions it

asks. Then, after a narrated text, students are given matching questions to

ensure they understand the information provided in the lesson. Next, they

are introduced to sentences where they must demonstrate their understanding

by labeling specific words. If students make a mistake, the program will

inform them at that precise moment and offer them clues to work toward the

right answer.

Although The Grammar Key requires students to identify the right answer

before they can move on to the next sentence, it still displays a final

grade at the end of that lesson from the number of mistakes made. This not

only ensures 100% mastery of all work performed, but saves you, the teacher

or parent, from having to check the answers.

Everything is laid out simply for each lesson on the CD. Parent involvent is extremely minimal (double-check work completed and record or print depending on your state requirements). I highly recommend this product for children of all ages, based on previously reviewed materials. Will update when I receive a full version.

Wow, I may have found just what I'm looking for! We have used Daily Grammar Practice this year and I LOVE the concept. The problem is that the individual instruction is not included with DGP. I love the looks of this program using the "whole sentence" approach, but with more individualized instruction. Please enter me in your contest!

I have looked at this before - but this would be perfect for my 14 yr old dd who has just been diagnosed with some learning disabilities - mostly in the language area. She was just saying to me a few moments ago (when we were learning the SAME grammar rules AGAIN) - I wish I could just learn it like everyone else and remember it!! This program would definately help her because she could look at it over and over and over.

I used this book with my older children. It was a great benefit to them. Since grammer isn't my strong point, I that I would be so blessed to have this now as my youngest child is old enough to use this and would benefit so much. Since he loves to be on the computer, this would be a great opportunity to have him learn while he is doing something that he loves, being on the computer.

I had not heard of this program until now but I can see why it would be so popular. It sounds easy to use plus it encourages the student to do their best. I like the ideal that the student can instantly see what is wrong and fix it. I hope this company makes more programs like this.

My kids have been using the Grammar Key cd since last year. They really like it, but I think the addition of a book is a great option because it provides further practice opportunity. That is helpful because it allows me to pull out the skills I see they need more work on and to focus on that! Great idea and I am so thankful they have made the book available!

When I first started HSing last year I asked my cousin what to do about grammar... she said The Grammar Key. I have a 7th, 6th, & 3rd grader, & am having a hard time with every grammar program we've tried... I think it's time to bite the bullet & give Grammar Key a try! I'm a little confused about what products I would need to purchase. Is the $29/ Family pack all I'll need? It looks like a product that could really work for our famiy. Thanks!

I have used grammar key for two of my children. It provides solid grammar rule teaching and saves a huge amount of my time since I don't have to grade papers or workbooks.

We used The Grammar Key for our 2 children for every level of Grammar through Highschool. We used the program when the cost was $59.95 for each CD. I can't explain what an excellent tool this was for our children. They immediately had increases in grade levels. Please, please tell everyone to use this program for their children or student. I can't believe they have brought the cost down to $9.95 per CD. Everyone homeschooling or teaching in public schools should be using The Grammar Key. Thank you Grammar Key.

I have always considered myself a skilled communicator. But my grasp of grammar is pathetic! Now that I have a daughter approaching school age, I have a renewed interest in both of us having a clear understanding of grammar rules.
This looks like an excellent foundational tool. Did I make any grammatical errors in this paragraph? Now I am paranoid!
