Somebody Needs Your Prayers

The website has little in the way of background, statement of faith, etc. Can you tell us who is behind it. I hesitate to recommend it without knowing that.
I can answer that.

It didn't occur to me to add a statement of faith, mainly because the site was not intended to be used to proselytize or teach, just offer a connection between those needing prayer and those wanting to pray. That being said, prayer itself can be a great witnessing tool, as it demonstrates Christ's love toward others.
As for my own beliefs, I was raised Southern Baptist and even attended for a year and a half Southwesten Baptist Theological Seminary, but now attend a conservative Bible Church in Tulsa. We homeschool. I have several Christian sites including phpBible.org, phpAV.com and radioJesus.com. Paul and Gena use me off and on for miscellaneous scripting for their sites, so they know me pretty well.
I hope that answered your question. If not you can contact me via the email at http://Somebody.NeedsYourPrayers.com or using the contact form at http://DannyCarlton.com/contact.php
Oh, sorry...

I wanted to add that my wife and I both have been blessed a lot by this site because we both add our own personal prayer list which is then emailed (with the subscribed requests) to us each morning.
Thanks for the background information :)

We had just wanted to insure the site was a Christian-based one (not LDS or Muslim, for example!). We appreciate your answer. Since it involves providing an email addy, we wanted to make sure it was going to a Christian group :)
