Communication Corner ~ Back to School Fun on this Week's Podcast!

Back to school was never so much fun!
For those of you not currently following my blog, Communication FUNdamentals, you may not know that my dear friend and co host at Grace Talk Soup recently had some serious family issues that required her to leave the internet for a while so that she can concentrate more on her family. SInce the show was based upon Lucy Linguist and Ethel the Editor, Lucy was really nothing without her Ethel. After some soul searching (and by that I mean consulting the Lord!), I realized that this was an opportunity to redesign the show to bring even more creative fun to teaching communication skills.
The result?
CCN: The Communication Comedy Network! CCN airs each Thursday at 8am PST/11am EST for one hour and features a variety of "shows" each week hosted by various personalities all played by myself! Real communication issues, really funny! Each week features two or three CCN shows like:
The 12 1/2 Minute News Hour features News Anchor Nancy Newsome who shares weird but true stories that illustrate the need for better communication skills.
and...Word of the Week with Professor Wordsmith!
Talk Talk Show, a talk show about talking (communicating) w/ host JoJo Tabares of Art of Eloquence who hosts an open discussion about various communication topics similar to the old Grace Talk Soup format.
Parodies of infomercials, game shows, soap operas etc will be occassionally featured as well.
This Thursday, the Talk Talk Show, will be pre empted by a pilot of a new CCN Game Show called Wheel of Communication. Bring your kids and have another browser open to find the words based on the clues the host will give you. The one with the most correct answers wins some free gifts on the air! Have fun, win prizes and learn about communication all at the same fun time! Back to school was never so much fun!
