Just recently, here on the Porch, JoJo commented that some of her favorite books are blogs. I agree, and today I'd like to introduce you to OldPathsMom of Adorning Grace. It's always a pleasure to read her blog, and as her homeschooling journey unfolds, it's like reading a good story about a character you love!
Have you ever read over some of your own old blog posts and been impressed or encouraged by them? Not all of our posts are like that, some may even be slightly embarrassing, but when we re-read one of our old posts it's like going back to a well-loved familiar book and getting re-aquainted. OldPathsMom did that just recently and her post is encouraging to everyone, not just herself.
Where are you in the process of homeschooling? OldPathsMom wants us to know that we shouldn't be in bondage on this path, but enjoying the journey and freedome that homeschooling offers!
For our Back-to-School theme this week, why not read Following the School Bus? I know school buses have become more prominent in our families lives! One stops right outside our house every afternoon. We watch the children get off, relieved to finally be home and wanting to go play, but homework still awaits them and the day is quickly dwindling away. It breaks my heart to watch them!
