The Isle of Dragons Contest!

9:59 AM, Sep. 24, 2009

This Contest is now
CLOSED!

Ed Dunlop's newest book--The Isle of Dragons–a powerful book to encourage young people to listen to the right voices

About the book: The Dragon Tournament—a mysterious event that draws young people by the thousands. Admission is free, but what price do the participants really pay? When sixteen-year-old Joel of Seawell, the son of a peasant fisherman, receives an invitation to the Tournament he is thrilled beyond words. Too late he learns the terrifying secret of the Isle of Dragons. Captive in a hostile land, Joel gives up all hope; certain he will never again see his home or experience the happy life he once knew. In his despair, he has overlooked a powerful force—the unconditional love of his father. http://www.talesofcastles.com/tales-from-terrestria.htm

Peer pressure—a powerful force for evil. Parental love—a powerful force for good. The Isle of Dragons—a powerful book to encourage young people to listen to the right voices http://www.talesofcastles.com/tales-from-terrestria.htm.

We would love to add to our collection of Mr. Dunlop's books! We have the Terrestria Series and as we re-read it through, I am amazed all over again how he eloquently presents truths from Scriptrure in a way that a child AND an adult can relate to! I have given this series as a gift, even, since it is SO good!

By "2 entries", do you mean two comments to this post? Or link to the contest in 2 places (i.e Facebook and Twitter, blog and Facebook, etc...)?

My daughter (12) is fascinated with dragons, however, she usually leans towards the ones that are a little too old for her. Usually we also find that there is a lot of darkness/magic that is not appropriate for a young Christian lady to read. This book that you are offering sounds like it would fill her need to read and would get our approval as well! So, please enter us!! Thanks so much!
