La Shawn Barber is a very well respected blogger and just happened to have been featured in the Winter Issue of The Old Schoolhouse. In fact, MelM, one of our own Homeschool Bloggers got to interview her!
Interestingly enough, she isn't married and doesn't have children, but is a big proponent of homeschooling. She just sees all that is wrong with the government schools, including the dumbing down of a *gifted* program, and knows that parents can do better.
She had some great tips for bloggers in the article, including how to use your blog as an evangelical tool. If you haven't gotten your copy of the Winter TOS, you'll want to get one so you can read what La Shawn has to say. We are very blessed to have her as a blogging friend to homeschoolers!
