Husband Tag!

I thought this looked kind of fun and something exciting to share with you! I got this tag from Nancy, who got this tag from Marsha, who got this tag from. . .

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?  This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop, The Woodwrights Shop, NASCAR.

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad?  Ranch dressing. 

3. What's one food he doesn't like?  liver

4. What kind of drink does he order?  Pepsi

5. Where did he go to high school? Moanaloa High School, HI, Redmond High School, OR

6. What size shoe does he wear?  9 Wide

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?  Hot Wheels, car parts, hot rods, remote control airplanes.

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? Grilled cheese. . .I think

9. What would he eat every day if he could?  Hot dogs, corn, lumpy mashed potatoes.

10. What is his favorite cereal? He doesn't like cereal.

11. What would he never wear?  A Speedo swim suit

12. What is his favorite sports team?  He doesn't like any sport that involves a ball. He likes NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is his favorite competitor. 

13. Who did he vote for?  He doesn't discuss politics with strangers.

14. Who is his best friend? Wayne C. and Troy M.

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? Gasp when I'm scared. 

16. How many states has he lived in?  Four: Oregon, California, Hawaii, Washington

17. What is his heritage? German, French, Cherokee Indian 

18. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what would it be? Spice with cream cheese frosting. 

19. Did he play sports in high school? As car racing was not a sport offered in high school, he declined the opportunity to chase after a ball.

20. What could he spend hours doing? Working on his 1923 T-Bucket.

21. What's something cool about him? He works hard. He enjoys taking us geocaching, camping, hiking, and to car shows.

I am hoping...That the nice weather sticks around a little while longer.

Outside My Window...it's dark. I got a late start on this today

I am thinking...I'm ready for bed

I am thankful for...a nice comfy bed

From the kitchen...left-over cauliflower and ham casserole

I am wearing...something blue

I am creating...I'm not feeling very creative

I am going...to bed as soon as I can

I am reading...a new Mrs. Jeffries Mystery novel.

I am hoping...that we get a new camera soon. I can only put up old pictures because I don't have a camera to take any new pictures. Hence, not very creative.

I am hearing...the water in my teapot heating up

Around the house...boys are in bed, Bluejane is making a dessert

One of my favorite things...someone else making dessert!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...doing something with the apples I'm getting from my in-laws.

Outside My Window...trees blowing in the wind

I am thinking...as soon as this is done it's time for school

I am thankful for...the fact that we can start school whenever we want!

From the kitchen...pumpkin roll crumbs

I am wearing...something pink

I am creating...a schedule

I am going...to need more time to creat my schedule

I am reading...a Mrs. Jeffries Mystery novel. I read "good" mystery novels for "easy reading" By good I mean, no foul language, no gory details, and no bedroom scenes.

I am hoping...that Dear Man is having a good day at work

I am hearing...click, click, click. My son is playing on his Nintendo DS

Around the house...Bluejane is cleaning her room, Cheeko is admiring the shape of a marshmallow, and my cats are napping

One of my favorite things...the movie Facing the Giants. We just watched it last week!

From the kitchen...Sunday's dirty dishes

I am wearing...I said above that I should probably get ready for the day

I am creating...a positive attitude

I am going...to clean the bathroom

I am reading...Last of the Mohicans on my PDA, yes, still

I am hoping...that the weather stays nice

I am hearing...my little guy repeatedly saying, "Hi!"

Around the house...breakfast munchers, key janglers, and foot stompers

One of my favorite things...my siamese cats

Outside My Window...the water truck (our water is trucked in)

I am thinking...my feet are cold

I am thankful for...a good water delivery man

From the kitchen...smells of blueberry bagels

I am wearing...a denim jumper (I don't care what you think, I like them.)

I am creating...a pain in my leg because I'm sitting on it

I am going...to start school for the day with my son

I am reading...Last of the Mohicans on my PDA, still

I am hoping...that it doesn't rain

I am hearing...the water truck

Around the house...a happy Daddy

One of my favorite things...hummingbirds

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...clean the bathroom, finish reading Last of the Mohicans!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...
Several years ago it rained so hard and fast that we had a waterfall coming down behind our house. They are hard to see but both of my sons, one daughter, and our two dogs are in this picture, checking out the waterfall and "river" in the pouring rain.

I am thinking...that this day is neraly over and I've barely started

I am thankful for...my husband's good job

From the kitchen...a mess

I am wearing...my favorite denim skirt, a white t-shirt with a pink blouse over it

I am creating...a headache

I am going...to do another load of laundry

I am reading...Last of the Mohicans on my PDA, still

I am hoping...that I don't lose my mind

I am hearing...a little boy begging me to play on the computer

Around the house...toys, books, and cat hair

One of my favorite things...a little bird taking a bath

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...catch up on school, wash the car, and start a campaign to get back my right to take a nap

Outside My Window...the motorhome that I need to clean

I am thinking...it's too cold to go clean the motorhome

I am thankful for...my four beautiful children

From the kitchen...Nothing yet

I am wearing...my favorite denim skirt, blue t-shirt, and white socks with blue stars

I am creating...a new category here on the Porch

I am going...to town later today to empty the motorhome tanks

I am reading...Last of the Mohicans on my PDA

I am hoping...that I can find my car key

I am hearing...the boys rifle through the Legos and the washing maching

Around the house...cats napping

One of my favorite things...hearing children laugh

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...finish up Blogging Basics newsletter, mail out a package to my oldest daughter, and keep up with the schedule

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
We went camping here (Haystack Resevoir) last year with my in-laws. We had a wonderful time; canoed on the lake, watched our dog dive for rocks, and learned more about cooking in a dutch oven.
