I'm walking for Make A Wish Foundation to give children with life threatening illnesses and their families an opportunity to make the childs wish come true. Often this is a way to "get away" from their illnesses and some, to even celebrate their recovery. I am asking for your help! Please donate anything you can by following the link which is protected for your convenience. Even one dollar can make a difference! I appreciate your sincere help for the children as I walk not just for fitness, but to make a childs wish come true. Won't you come be a part of it with me?
Thank You in advance for your generous and compassionate hearts. Your love will truely shine to a child in need.
Follow This Link to visit my personal web page and help me in my efforts to support Make A Wish Foundation of Central New York

My name is Alyssa Liljequist. I am a 14 year old
homeschooler. My parents are Eric and Urailak ("A") Liljequist. I am participating in Steps for Life (a two mile walkathon) again this
year. This year, the walkathon will take place on May 10th. It is an annual fund-raising event for Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRC) I have a website where you can visit and make pledges online. The address is
https://www.gifttool.com/athon/MyFundraisingPage?ID=1383&AID=188&PID=22397
The Pregnancy Resource Centers of Greater Portland help women and teens who face unplanned pregnancy. They help meet their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, enabling them to CHOOSE LIFE. They have six centers throughout the Portland area, and
have ministered to over 110,000 women and teens since 1984. They provide free services such as counseling, ultrasound, adoption info., maternity & baby clothes, parenting classes, spiritual encouragement, etc. Please join me in saving the precious lives of unborn babies by making pledges. You don't need to pay right now. You can choose to be billed later. Any amount would greatly be appreciated! If you do not want to make pledges online, you can still make pledges
by emailing me your name, address, and the amount you
would like to give. Donations to PRC are tax-deductible. For more info. about Steps for Life, please visit http://www.stepsforlife.info/ Treasure life, Alyssa Does Science Need Evolution?

If you are looking for materials to help refute evolution then please continue to read!
The US National Academy of Sciences is once again trying to squelch creationism. The author of Refuting Evolution, Dr. Jonathan Sarfati, has a new article offered at Creation Ministries International rebutting the NAS's latest publication. Judges and Translators Needed for The FIRST Lego League World Festival
Posted 12:36 AM, Feb. 20, 2008
The FIRST Lego League World Festival at the Georgia Dome and World Congress Center in Atlanta this year in April. Their website is www.usfirst.org. There will be 100 teams literally from all over the world competing.
The Festival need judges, but what's really neat is that they need translators. Last year I judged at this event and had high school aged kids serving as interpreters for korean, german and japanese. This is a wonderful opportunity for homeschoolers. They have the flexibility to be in Atlanta for those 3-4 days. If they live near Atlanta or have friends they can stay with, it would be an incredible experience. Homeschool parents with coaching or engineering or programming experience would be perfect judges.
