Things are getting under way for the first HSB gathering, so a blog has been set to keep everyone informed of our plans and how things are coming along.

 So far all we know for certain is that it is to be held in Texas, most likely at a state park, Alex is looking into that. I am also thinking that if some of you get together in advance you can find out what states you live in and maybe you can car pool, thus saving on gas.

 We are shooting for the middle of July to hold it, we will keep you informed as the time draws closer.

 For now if you have questions, comments, suggestions, be sure to ask. We will update you all when we learn more.

Oh, awesome. I was going to suggest y'all set up a blog for this, but you saved me the trouble!

Hooray, Texas! I was talking with my mom about it today, and she mentioned that, since we're talking Texas, July may not be the best time. We'll be pretty hot. Maybe sometime in spring would be better? Or is that too soon?

Hi Beth, the spring probably won't work for very many people despite the better weather, unfortunately. But we can do water stuff to keep cool!
