Aug. 8, 2006 - Kids say the cutest things...
A few weeks ago at the dinner table...
Hubby: I'll try to get those e-mail accounts set up for you boys.
Nicholas: (with enthusiasm) I can't wait to tell Anna I have my own e-mail account!
Ian: (very enthusiastic and hopeful): Yeah! Now all I need is a BANK account!!
And yesterday opening the mail, hubby and I rec'd new credit cards.
Ian asks: Mom, what is that?
Me: A new credit card. Isn't it pretty...all gold and shiny (they are very into pirates and treasures now).
Ian: (wistfully) If only I could have one *sigh*...
I promise we are not fixated on money around here. I am not sure where he gets it!

Why don't you give them your old ones? My daughter likes plastic cards, so I gave her an old wallet of mine, and give her old cards: Lowe's cards, old library cards, old credit cards, used gift cards, etc. She thinks she's "all that" with all her plastic.
