March madness! Check out our "tie dye" cake!

Here is the cake we made today. We had made homemade "cake decorating frosting" back in February for Valentine's Day. It's good for 5 weeks and I was ready to use the rest and be finished with it.

So we had a little pink, dab of purple, fair amount of yellow, lots of green... we just put a little of this and that on the cake and spread it out. Then we combined all that was left and used blue food coloring and made the blue/green for the star outlines we put on there.

We called it a "tie dye" cake!

Here we are with our sweet concoction!

Hello

Posted by corinnas

Hi Margie. Cute picture. My name is Corinna Silvers and I am new to blogging and looking for some blogging friends. I have been married for 8 years to an amazing man. We have 2 great children. Faith is 6 and Matthew is 5. I have been homeschooling for 2 years and enjoy it. I love being with my children. Your cake came out colorful. I am sure it was good. You were a MOPS mom. I was a MOPS one then ours changes to MOMS Of Many Seasons. I started when Matthew was 7 weeks old and then stopped when we moved to Tallahassee because homeschooling took priority and I would only have one more year. I was a leader my 2nd year and I felt so blessed. I had a great group of ladies. This was at First Baptist Orlando and the reason it changed from MOPS to MOMS was the fact their was enough talent in our group to be on our own. It was amazing to see what God could do. I miss it but I am content. Would love to hear from you. God Bless. Corinna
