Just a note to my non-homeschooling friends- I don't have a problem with anyone's choice for schooling.  I know our choice is ours and it isn't the right one for every family.  But I believe it should be a choice, for you and for me.  I believe that the schools should serve the family and not the other way around.  Your children should be free to learn how to read, write, compute and research without being forced to accept values or beliefs that are not yours.  My children should have the same freedom.  I hope that all of our children will be free to learn in whatever setting you and I choose without being subjected to the indoctrination of the week.
