Our Campers At Lake Michigan

Some of our campers had never been outside of the state of Kentucky. We scheduled a day at the dunes on Lake Michigan so they would have the opportunity to see a body of water larger than they'd ever seen. They were totally impressed!

All of your pictures are so beautiful. I don't know about the mud wrestling; I'd be "Miss Priss" over in the corner, worried about my hair. But, I do sing! It looks like a wonderful, Spirit-filled time for some very blessed kids.

I watched Bill Winston tonight and thought of you. It's wonderful to have common threads, isn't it? God bless you.

I have been really enjoying your pics of Camp Shekinah. Can you explain more what you mean. Who was at this camp and how long was camp ? Is this a camp through your home church ? I am dying to know. [0= It looked like a REALLY NEAT camp at that !

I am sorry I have been lacking in visits. We too were struggling with our computer and the life on the homestead has been very busy. I am at that point where I just want to get off and have a rest. But no such luck. I wish I could say I can't wait till the harvest is in but after the harvest comes cleaning and packing the seed for the family buisness. But there is that small break between January and Feb/March.

About Me

Welcome to our ranch! Come, sit on our porch, have some tea, and stay a while. Were going to have a lot of fun chatting. Bring the kids, too, as we've got lots of room to play, horses to ride, cats and kitties to cuddle, gentle dogs to pet, and baby chickens to look at and hold. We can take trail rides around the alfalfa field, wade through the creek, take a paddle boat to the island on the lake, go fishing, or explore the Black Walnut Forest. There's no hurry around here. We'll just meander about and maybe even pack a picnic basket - Ranch Shekinah is abounding with Mulberry trees, wild blackberries and raspberries, an orchard of apple trees, and a herb garden.
