Dec. 27, 2007 - Years since I last wrote

Well...months.

But still.

I've started chatting and posting on a bebo..since I haven't been homeschooled for two years and a lot of my friends from public school ghave a bebo. I will not conform to myspace! HAHA. Here are a few things that have happened since I last wrote

• I am in Journalism, which I've quite taken a liking to, and my teacher really likes my work, he's says I am definate editor material and may be one next year, which is great because I will join newspaper as a jr (next year) and ussually first-year-newspaper staff have to be a journalist for a year before an editor. I would get to write my own opinionated collumn each month :D yaya!
• I turned 15 woot! lol, not really I had meant to get my permit yesterday..maybe tomrow. to bad the only cars we have are a 15 passenger and a dodge ram cargo van. It's like Mrs. beast and Mr. Beast. Dad had better get tham bmw jetta like he was talking about!
• I have a boyfrined. Yep. It's true. He's amazing and I like him a whole lot. He's a great guy and we're both really tight with one anothers family and our walk with God. Oops..yes, his name---Josh
• I've movexd into my new lime green room..and I got a great new comforter..it's cute, if I get around to it I'll post a picture

Jun. 26, 2007 - FUN IN THE SUN

I'm posting at last! Isn't it amazing? Camp has been so much fun but VERY tiring. during training week I only got 5 1/2 hours of sleep each night on average. YAY for 2 cups of coffee in the morning!!!  Training week was a lot of fun, I loved it, and Jr.1 was great too. I'm actually talking this week off to visit my best friend torie www.homeschoolblogger.com/tojo we had  a lot of fun yesterday (despite the fact our skin looks like a crossbreed between pumpkin and tomato with the lovley texture of  asphalt).Naw, it's not that bad, and I'm going to have a ripping tan. Here is what we did (no I'm not schizophrenic, it's going on her blog too, so excuse me when I refer to myself as "Hali")

Yesterday we woke up at 9:30 and enjoyed a lovley breakfast of bagels with creamcheese or peanut butter. Hali showered and then both of us straighted our hair, brushed our teeth, put on makeup etc.We went up the road to the forsman's house where we talked to her friend karrin who was giving medicine to her two horses, mighty and neito (nee-toe) We took turns riding on neito with karrin down to the main pasture and led mighty. Then we went back to  Torie's house and had lunch (bagels with creamcheese and turkey and pepper, chips, and gramcrackers.) HAli had some iced tea. then we went back up to the forsmans and Karrin made iced coffee, and torie made iced hot chocolate.  Then we went to the rope swing by  the river and talked for a while. That was fun! Hali nearly bashed into the tree and died a few times, but thats to be exspected. WE all went back to torie's house got our swimsuits and went into the river and waded. We found an old plank and made a bridge on some rocks. We turned it into a dam connecting to a bridge and ended up making a complex waterway with a triangular rock island.  Karrin had to go, then we dunked in the water and sun bathed (apparently) too long. Torie's dad drove up and gave us a ride to the house, where Torie's mom had made a delicious dinner of chicken stuffed with swiss cheese and ham, with corn and broccoli and rice and carrots. YUMMY!!!! We did some gardening for torie's mom and walk around the loop with the alumbaugh's (alem-bahs) big beautiful german sheperd, charlie. WE brought our ipods and rocked out the whole way. When we got home we watched a movie and then went to bed we talked a little and listened to a bit of music then drifted off, plesantly exhausted, ready to do it again tomorow (nvm...make that today!)

Sorry! I know I haven't posted in ages. I posted that entry below from my draft folder, as you can see it was never finished. Oops lol. Yeah, I've sorta been slacking off. Last weekend was fun though, I went to see Spiderman and then went bowling with my youthgroup. This weekend I got to meet all but two of the girls I'll be working with at on crew at camp. Yeah! They all seem oober nice. I decided on my camp names: LACES. Yup, 'cause my shoes are never tied for more than a few minutes. I am very excited for wednesday. It is a half day and my friends from school are going to my house for a water fight. It was up to 82 today! It is so nice! I went out side to tan, and spritzed myself with sun-intensifing spray!! Heh heh hello skin cancer! JK! Yeah, well not much to say. all my friends freaked out to today because they learned I like rock and heavy metal...whats with that???!!! I dunno. I rock out to a Breaking Benjamin song and the say it's the apocalypse---no joke---thats a direct quote. Ha, so anyways yeah, I suppose I will post again soon...but then a gain that's what I always say, and see what came of it.

May. 6, 2007 - Spiderman 3

Finally, the long awaited Spiderman 3 man is out in theatures, but the question you may be asking yourself is "Is it worth $6.50 and two hours and twenty minutes of my time?", or perhaps you have already seen it and wonder how someone else liked it. The answers are controversial, and therefore I won't give it a desisive one, but Below I will review how I liked it:

   Spiderman was an action filled movie. Little to-no blood,  but tons of fighting. The action was well done, engaging, suspensefull and climatic. If I had to choose one reason to see this film it would be for the action.

   The special effects were for the most part, amazing. Spiderman was just as stremlined and stunning as the previous two, and the action stunts were believable and breathtaking. THe goblin glider effects were amazing and awesome. The sand man was very cool, though when he is in man-form made of sand he looks very computer generated...the amazing stunts he does, makes up for it. Venom was very cool, although his mouth and teeth were poorly animtimated, He was very well done otherwise.

   I thought the main fualt of the movie was charechter develop ment. The villians were brought in and out of the film so quickly, they had little time to wreak havoc and had little motive or background, the sandman had more of a background but little motive to hurt people, and venom had motive but so little screen time he had hardly any development.

  The relationships between Peter and Mary Jane and Harry were very well done. It was believable and  engaging. The inward stuggle Peter has with his new "evil-power" suit, is interesting, although some of the things it leads him to do (picking up on girls and dancing in the middle of the side walk were somewhat silly and rather absurd)

  As far as modesty went, this movie was cleaner than both the first and the second. There was only a few swear words and no crude humor.

The movie was intense, well filmed and had good acting. I gave it 7 out of 10.

I think they werwe trying to cover to much ground though, and the villians were weak charechters. If they had been better developer, it would have been better. I think they should have focused only on one villian and mad it superb, rather than add a ton of villians and hardly touch on them

Over all though, I think that this movie is fun to see in the theatures because spiderman's special effects are so cool. To see a review that focuses more on the cleaness of this film, so you can decie if you think it is appropriate go to http://www.pluggedinonline.com/movies/movies/a0003209.cfm

May. 2, 2007 - We're all gonna die!!!

My arms are feeing much better. Ugg, I walked into the house from school 10 minutes ago. It's 77 degrees inside and th whole house reeks like paint. Yucky! Whoo hoo! We're all going to be high! Paint fumes!!! *inhales deeply* JK. But, really, they are trying to dry the paint so they can do the second layer, and boy is it HOT! Did I mention a comic my friend and I were starting a few entries ago??? I think I did, well, anyways, she came over yesterday, and we worked on it, and we got 3 pages planned out!!! It's awesome, I'm desighning and writing, and doing the dialouge (mostly) and she's drawing the pictures. It's so cool! I love it! It is turning out really well. When it's done, I willl see if I can scan it or something and put it up. Well-io I think I'm going to get some fresh air...I feel dizzy. I'll post again soon!
