Friday, March 21, 2008 - Today..
LET us examine our capacities and gifts, and then put them to the best use we may. As our own view of life is of necessity partial, I do not find that we can do better than to put them absolutely in God's hand, and look to Him for the direction of our life-energy. God can do great things with our lives, if we but give them to Him in sincerity. He can make them useful, uplifting, heroic. God never wastes anything. God never forgets anything. God never loses anything. As long as we live we have a work to do. We shall never be too old for it, nor too feeble. Illness, weakness, fatigue, sorrow,--none of these things can excuse us from this work of ours. That we are alive today is proof positive that God has something for us to do today.

Hello,
I'm so sorry I haven't been by in a while.
Time has just flown by and a close friend of our family passed away due to cancer so we have been pretty sad about that..she was really close friend of my moms ...from school days. So the whole thing is just so sad...
I really enjoyed your post. I also read your other ones to catch up on what you are doing. :)
So how are you doing? Looking forward to having school done??? I know I am...only 2 more subjects to go....I finished all my others up a little while ago.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Brielle

Hello, I love music too! Your blog is lovely, especially the background.
I partcipate in Solo/Ensemble competitions twice a year. They're fun- I think I benefit a lot from them. I also love music theatre, so I guess we have several things in common! Not to mention our usernames! ;-)

Yes, I am the same person who left the comment just above, but now in my "personal capacity".
You sound a lot like me! I love music, ecpecially old music, (Bing Crosby is one of my favorites too!), and classical music. I also love to crochet, I love classic literature, I sew, and I love shopping!
I hope you don't mind me adding you to my friends list.
Have a very bright, and very cheerful day!

Thanks for the comment!!! I'm glad you like them!!! I didn't even know who Renee Fleming was until I heard these!! But I do think her voice is AMAZING!!!!! There's also a song called "The Breaking of the Fellowship" on the FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING cd sung by a ten-year-old boy with a stunning voice!!!!!! He also does a vocalizing for "Minas Tirith" on THE RETURN OF THE KING one. It is amazing!
Never could say I liked Judy Garland's voice much, but she's a cute girl!:P Heehee!
