another update
i know it's been forever since i updated, but here it is. Lyndsey is coming home on the 31st after being in the hospital for nearly two months. she's fought hard, but it's God alone that brought her back to us. heaping shovelfuls of thanks to everyone who prayed!!

UPDATE
my friend lyndsey is doing better. she is still not doing as well as everyone would like to see her, but it is better than three days ago when they said she wouldn't make it. she is now at scottish rite hospital, where they specialize in childrens healthcare. they are saying that she will develop pneumonia and they can give her the treatment and close attention she needs. we are continuing to cover her and her family in prayer and i hope that everyone who reads this will continue to pray also.

PRAYER REQUEST!
hey if anybody reads this please say a prayer for my friend lyndsey. she is 17 years old and a very good friend. her heart gave out about an hour ago and her family took her to the hospital. they were able to get her breathing on her own again, but she has yet to regain conciousness. the doctor said it might be days before she wakes up. please say a prayer for her recovery and for her family. thanks.

just to let everyone know...facebook is the most awesome thing ever. it's much better than myspace...sorry all you people that love myspace, but it's true. i am requesting that all my friends on homeschoolblogger...get a facebook! please! it's free and it's fun and it's more secure than myspace. please please please....and if you already have one...let me know! thanks.

it's official!
so,as of friday night, i am officially a high school graduate! we had a ceremony at my church and a little reception afterwards, which was fun. but the best part of the whole night was one of my grad gifts...i got a car!!it's so awesome...
it's a 95 chevy camaro, sort of metallic green. it's gotten lots of compliments so far, and it's not even detailed yet...the only thing is, it's a stick, and i'm not very accomplished in my "stick skills" yet. but i'm getting there!

just some fears and frustrations
ugh....nursing classes are going to consume what is left of my life....monday through friday, 8am to 4pm...and i'll probably have to get some kind of job. nothing is settled about me doing nursing, but i know that's what i want to do. but i'm seeing that if i do get to do it, it's going to take a lot of hard work...which is something i'm not really used to...:/ ...and i'd have to start getting up early, like, 6 in the morning...*sniffles* no more sleeping till 9:30....but i guess this is the price you have to pay to get anywhere in life.

just some information about the mystery that is me...
i just thought that i would post some basic stuff about myself that maybe someone might find interesting or something. :) height: 5'5'' hair color: red eye color: brown (like my moms) favorite school subject: biology favorite food: pizza!!! favorite desert: hmm....strawberry shortcake made by my grandmother or from cracker barrel..mmmm favorite sport:umm...i have more than one, lets see, football, paintball, basketball...i like tennis, but i'm not that good at it what i plan on doing after graduation: go to college to be a nurse more to come later....

she's here!!
i would like to announce the birth of my second niece, Madison Isabella...she's the sweetest thing you've ever seen in your life!!! she is 8 lbs. 5 oz. and she is 21'' long! she was born yesterday at 4:20pm after about 13 hours of labor....needless to say we were all exhausted, especially my sister! she's completely healthy and ,again, she's the SWEETEST thing!!! i love her to pieces! :D

about nothing in particular...
i haven't written a blog in forever!! my life is so busy...my older sister is about to have baby number 2 and i'm trying to get all my school stuff wrapped up, so i can graduate and i'm starting my summer job next week and i haven't decided what i'm doing with my life....stuff like that. but i know people who are busier than i am, so i really shouldn't complain.
*changes subject* i'm excited about POTC 3!!! i can't wait to see it...i also can't wait to go play paintball this saturday...yay! i haven't played in a few years, so i'm a little rusty, but hopefully i won't get completely creamed!

american idol
i don't know if any of ya'll are american idol fans, but i kinda am. i'm not like"let's talk about american idol!" all the time....i just watch it. and i thought i would comment on the performences tonight. i thought that jordin(yay!!) did the best for this week. i think that blake is going to be leaving us tomorrow. i won't be sad to see him go.
lakisha(spelling?) did well too, but it could've been better. melinda did good as usual. whelps, there's my opinion!

i can't believe this! my art class is closing/going out of business....so, no more art class.
and whats worse is that i only have two weeks to finish my oil painting....and as of last night, it's gonna need some heavy duty work, cause i kinda messed it up a bit

spider-man 3
just for everyones information, i went to see spiderman 3 last night and it was really good. i cried a lot!!
i tend to get WAY into whatever movie i'm watching...so...yea. i think the first one is still the best one and my favorite though.

the new kid
hi.....i'm not exactly sure how this whole thing works just yet; this is my first blog! yay! so at least i got this far. but anyway....as far as i know, i think theres a few people on here that i know from waaaayyyy back...got check up on em 
....whelps...this is pretty boring for a blog, but hang in there! hopefully i'll get better! btw....i LOVE using smileys!!
