Its all al fresco, baby!

I sure do miss posting. Seems like the days have just buzzed by me and I'm just left standing there wondering what happend!
I've been slowly decluttering around the house again... I do try to keep up with this.. but somehow life buzzes by again!
I am looking forward to Friday. My husband starts his 1 1/2 week vacation from BOTH jobs! I'm so excited! We are planning on taking a night for him and I to spend somewhere. We will probably go into the Colorado Rockies somewhere. I tried to convince him that if he wanted to be really romantic he would take me camping... but... to him that is not romantic. I tried to convince him that just taking off and seeing where we end up was romantic too... but... to him its not. I also thought a bed and breakfast would be nice... but... nope. I think we'll find a cabin or a small hotel somewhere. I'm sure we'll do some hiking, gold panning and tree hugging.We have some wonderful trees here in Colorado called the Ponderosa Pine and the bark smells like vanilla ice cream... mmmmmmm.
I may not be able to sleep next to a fire in my sleeping bag, but at least I'll get to enjoy the outdoors a bit with my great husband. (I grew up camping, hiking, rockhounding, prospecting... I LOVE the outdoors!) I am thankful that my husband is even wanting to go into the mountains with me. Al fresco, baby!

I think camping would be romantic too... and my huby thinks an expensive hotel is romantic.....
But.... if it's in Hawaii it's romantic!...LOL

Dianna, I know I said this over at CHC, but wanted to say it again. I hope you have a wonderful week with your hubby and family. You deserve this time away and refreshment. I am gonna miss you though, my friend . . . <tries not to whine and cry> really really I will!! One week without Dianna makes for very lonely web-group ;-). aww shucks . . ((HUGS)) now ya got me all teary-eyed!! Hurry back when you can.

We obviously didn't make it to park day, but then again, you probably didn't either since you are running around hugging trees with your hubby!
