www dot com... the words from a 5 yo.

My hubby tucked the boys into bed tonight. After tucking them in he comes upstairs, sits on the couch and says with a smile, "I asked Peanut what mommy taught him today. Peanut said that he learned 'www dot bionicles dot com' and there he learned about bad guys and good guys."
Peanut is 5 years old by the way.
Well, obviously www dot bionicles dot com was the highlight of his day. He and his big brother (10 yo) read some of the comics on that site after they did some formal learning.
Math and phonics aren't that big of a deal when it comes to good guys vs. bad guys, ya know.
I am always amazed at what comes out of the mouth of a child.

My dd(5) asked the other day, "Mom when you and Daddy kiss, is that "inrepropriate" for me to see" I told her no, but feel in love with "inrepropriate". I try to get her to say it at least once a day, but I have to find something that is inrepropriate, and I don't want to do that. blessings and hugs on your day.

yep, kids are weird. the other day geoff was holding our three year old and when i came over near them he pointed at me and told his dad, "kiss her on da yips"

You reminded me of last week when my 10 yr. old son (with several loose teeth) came running in to me (at the computer) and anxiously asked me to go to "www dot how to pull out a tooth without blood dot com". !! You gotta love 'em!
