I am pretty sure my Big Toe on my right foot is broken... or at least fractured. It's a toe so I'm not going to bother going to the doc just to have them tell me to "buddy tape it" or to keep it elevated. (I've broken my pinky toe twice before) I have a nasty black and purple bruise on the outside part of my toe  towards the bottom.

This is funny...

My hubby and I were making dinner together. I was making Sesame Chicken for he and I and he was making beef hot dogs and mac 'n cheese for the kids. I was standing in the middle of the kitchen near hubby when I hear him yell, "Move your foot!"

It was to late... the package of frozen hot dogs hit my big toe.

It hurt, I almost cried, my whole big toe burned on the inside. It swelled up on the the side of my toe and along the bottom. Weird, because the frozen hot dog package hit the top of my toe. My hubby felt terrible for accidently dropping the frozen dogs on my toe.

Oh well, this has been giving me an excuse to put my feet up and knit!

Kelly - I had painted my toesies days prior to this happening so my metalic neon green toenails go great with my black and blue bruise! ***snicker*** They are also better to look at while my feetsers are elevated while I knit!
