I made this bread last year after seeing a fellow blogger's reviews of it. My apologies, I don't remember which blogger it was.
Anyway, the Egg Nog Bread was a hit in my family. I made it for my husband who LOVES egg nog. He loved it, my children loved it, my mother, grandmother, aunts and uncles loved it. It has been requested... not quite requested, but I was told that I have to make it for our family Thanksgiving family get together.
Mind you, I don't like Egg Nog but I will admit that this bread is pretty darn good.
I got the recipe from HERE. I did make changes to the recipe. The reviews said that it comes out a bit dry. I live at a higher altitude so the extras make it come out just perfect! It comes out soft and moist.
To the recipe I add:
- 1 package of vanilla pudding mix. (not prepared)
- 1/2 cup more eggnog
- 1/4 cup oil (I use canola)
- I use mace instead of nutmeg.
