Prayer Request -Adoption

Well we got news today that after everything we have done to prepare for all the children to be adopted on March 31, the girls adoption date was set for April 7. Please pray that we can get it back to the 31st. We have family coming from out of town, parties planned and presents that revolve around the adoption date being March 31. Im trying to get as much prayer on this as possible. I know it seems trivial (its only a week!) But the girls are so excited (and so are mommy and daddy). I cant bear to tell them it wont be the 31st. They have been telling everyone it will be that day! Please pray!!

Congratulations! I'm sure this has been a long road, and the end is in sight. As a fellow adoptive mom, I can relate to how you feel. Nothing is ever planned even when it's planned. And the hurry up and then wait, and wait, and wait drives me crazy.
We have 3 wonderful blessings. And are hoping to adopt a 9 y/o boy that is in foster care with dh's parents. It looks highy likely that it will happen, but there are many steps to complete before we get there. (his bm, just relinquished last month, and there is permenancy hearing and staffing to come before we'll know anything more) He also has a 1/2 sister and the judge must say they can be placed seperately before anything else can happen. That hearing is April 18th.(unfortunately, she is a total wreck and he will never be adopted if they must go together.) We have to be careful when we are around him because he doesn't know yet that we want him to join our family, and can't know for some time.

I just read your story over at Mommy Life, and I am soooooo happy for you, and was so blessed to read it! Thank you for sharing. God is amazing, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!!
We have a new son also, the adoption will be final on April 18th, he was in foster care and has been with us since October 22. He is awesome, he is two years old and blesses my socks off every day.
I will keep up with your family. Congrats again!
