Jan. 23, 2007 - I love aprons!

Let me say it again.  I LOVE aprons.  Putting one on seems to transform me from a sluggish, tired, don't-quite-have-it-together woman to Supermom...ready to leap tall LEGO structures with a single bound, single handedly clean anything in 15 minutes, capture escaped toddlers and broker peace between siblings thereby avoiding all out war...all in one fail swoop.  OK, so the transformation is merely in my mind, but it can't hurt.

Here's a chance to win an absolutely beautiful apron from Smockity Frocks.  Isn't that just the cutest name?  Here's the kicker...you don't have to do anything except leave a comment.  Can't get much simpler than that!  Check it out and add your name to the list.

Oh I'd just love an apron. I've been wanting one for the longest time. Aprons remind me of my grandmother who went to be with Jesus 5 years ago. She was a fastidious homemaker and housekeeper, nutritionist and frugal child of the depression. I would wear it in honor of her! Thanks for stopping by my blog and affirming my thoughts. Christa

Hi! I see you've been blogging for a while, but I've never come across your blog. Hi there! What a nice blog you have! I hope to add you to my bloglines.

I live in China where it's a bit more old fashioned (understatement!). So ladies commonly wear aprons. It's smart, really. How often have I stained clothes from spattered oil? That is a cutey tooty apron! Anyway, see you around the HSB!

So much cuter than my plain jane dark blue apron from a local steak house, donated to me by a great aunt. True, it does keep the stains down to a minimum, but fashion has to count for something.

I have been reading your blog. I love all your entries. I too get frustrated before lunch, so quickly we forget what is important in life. Keep up the good work.

What a sweet apron. It goes very nicely with the A, B, C tag I was hit with last week.
I have enjoyed getting to know you today.
