And that is precisely how I have felt lonely when surrounded by people!
God's been working on my heart about not just sitting around feeling sorry for myself that I'm lonely and to get out and attempt to get connected, so I've been making more of an effort this week, and while there have been a couple of times where it hasn't gone well, there have also been a couple of instances which give me hope!

I LOVE that quote.... it is so very true. And loneliness is a very painful place to be, while aloneness can be very refreshing place to be. This was a great thought to chew on. Thanks for sharing it!
