Aug. 24, 2007 - All-girl fun!

I am headed out this afternoon for a fantastic all-girl weekend.   A friend and I are going shopping, out for an early dinner (I'm thinking Cheesecake Factory and some serious Godiva Chocolate cheesecake!) and then to the Women of Faith Conference.  Phenomenal worship and inspiring speakers...I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

On a completely unrelated conference note...if you've been to a WOF or similar conference I'm sure you've seen the TWO men usually sitting, a bit hunched in their seats, amidst the sea of women.  Talk about drowning in estrogen.  I don't know whether to applaud them or pity them.

I'm sure I'll have lots to share when we get home.  How about you?  Ever been to a conference?  I'd love to hear your favorite memories.

Have Fun!

I'm going to WOF in Portland Oregon in October. A group of us are getting a motel and having an estrogen filled weekend. That's the part I love the most.

Plus it's such an exciting and charged environment. It's always a good time!

Ahhh, Women of Faith! I went to one of their conferences when they were first getting started. It was in Tulsa in 1997 and Barbara Johnson was one of the speakers. It was fabulous and I loved it. I haven't had a chance to go back to another one since then, but hopefully I can sometime soon. They sure revitalize and refresh you.

That is just a fabulous story about Lisa also. We never know the plans God has for our life if we just trust Him and follow His leading.

Hugs,
Donna
